Biography
I hold an Environmental Engineering degree from Junia ISA (France), where I specialized in the sustainable management of pollution and remediation techniques. During a one-year research internship at the IRBV in Montreal, I worked on the phytoremediation of mining residues—a project that sparked a strong interest in scientific research and led me to pursue an M.Sc. in ecotoxicology and biogeochemistry.
My current research focuses on assessing the public health risks associated with mining and smelting activities. Specifically, I aim to evaluate the extent of dietary exposure to metals and metalloids in the vicinity of the Rouyn-Noranda smelter—the largest electronic waste recycling facility in North America.
